Description

Whether or not eventing is active for the external database.

When eventing is on (value of 1), any event received by the external database causes the execution of the database.exec procedure.

When eventing is off (value of 0), events received by the external database are ignored.

For those database systems with eventing capabilities (e.g. Ingres), eventing is initially off when a database is opened. For those database systems with no eventing capabilities this element is permanently off and cannot be set to on.
