Description

The shield status of the graphic primitive. This is a boolean value (1 or 0), indicating whether attempts to change the primitive’s symbology is ignored. When the element value is 1, the primitive’s symbology is effectively shielded during the execution of a modify command when applied to symbology attributes.

At primitive creation time, its value is 0, i.e. not shielded.
