Description

The entity group associated with layer. Only vector layers have an associated group. This element will have a null value for layers which are not vector layers.

For efficiency, entity groups which are also window layers are typically flagged as layer groups (group.is_layer) but this is not a prerequisite.

This element may be redefined and depending on the contents of the group will probably result in a complete repaint of the window to which the layer belongs.
