Element: window.visibility

Type

numeric

Description

The current visibility of window. Setting this element to 0 will make window invisible. Setting it to 1 will make it visible again. Making a window invisible is often useful to prevent its use temporarily, or to smarten up a cluttered display. New windows are always visible.

A window’s visibility has no effect on its iconic status.

When the system monitor window is iconized via the "Hide All" option on the File menu, all user windows are temporarily made invisible. During such a state user windows cannot be made visible until the monitor window is reopened.
